Church, the theme of the year is 2025—The Third Day! Our Lord Jesus died, was buried and raised again on the third day (1 Corinthians 15:3–4, NASB), an overpayment for sin, to give us eternal life.
In Scripture, we also see many amazing things happening on the third day: God reviving His people, that they may live with Him (Hosea 6:1–2), Jesus turning water into wine (John 2:1–11), God healing King Hezekiah and extending his life (2 Kings 20:5–6), and Queen Esther receiving great favour from the king (Esther 5:1–3).
This year, we believe we are stepping into the fullness of the third day, and we shall see a fresh and greater-than-ever outpouring of:
– spiritual revivals and increased intimacy with God;
– marriage revivals where couples are intoxicated with each other’s love;
– manifested healings, with people experiencing longer, fulfilled lives and a reversal of time’s effects, and
– greater and intensified favour from people who matter.
Let’s press in, as Jabez did (1 Chronicles 4:10, NASB), and ask God for these blessings to be intensified in every area of our lives this coming year, that we may also be a blessing to everyone around us and witness many salvations take place!
